Make-up Policy

Make-up Policies and Procedures

Please note that when you pay to reserve a spot for your child in a class, we are holding that spot for you whether you come or not. Other children may be turned away because a class has reached the maximum that we allow to ensure proper student:teacher ratio. Regular attendance is strongly enforced so that your child will receive the maximum benefit and value from the program. However, we understand that situations may arise that you will be unable to attend your regularly scheduled class. The following are our rules and policies regarding make-up classes:

There is no prorating or refunds for missed classes. In the event that we are closed due to holidays or any unforeseen circumstances (weather emergencies, natural disasters, ext.), you may schedule a make-up class.

Students are entitled to a maximum of 1 make-up class per session. If you miss 2 or more classes, only 1 make-up may be scheduled. Make-up classes must be scheduled through the office either in person or by phone. 24-hour notification is required to schedule a make-up class. Walk-in make-up classes are not permitted.

Your child must have missed a class before scheduling a make-up class.

Your child must be currently enrolled in a class in order to attend a make-up class.  There can be no make-ups scheduled on dates past your dis-enrollment date.

Make-up classes must be done within 1 session of the missed class.

24-hour notification is required to reschedule a make-up class. If you miss a scheduled make-up class it will be counted as your make-up and you will not be able to schedule another. Limited make-up times are available, and other people may need the day you are scheduled to come for the make-up. If you fail to come, it is still a spot in the class that is being held for you. If you know you will not be able to attend your scheduled make-up class, please contact our office 24 hours prior to the scheduled make-up so that we may release the spot to someone else.

Additionally, make-ups are offered as a courtesy so please try to reserve your make-up class for an unexpected illness or an important schedule conflict.
